Walk amongst the wild ponies and highland cattle whilst immersing yourself in mystical landscape before retreating to a traditional cosy pub. Walk across the best preserved “clapper bridge” (stone bridge) on Dartmoor and be humbled by a village dating back over three thousand years. You’ll visit a pub that’s been serving ale for nearly 900 years and walk to the top of Haytor where you’ll be captivated by the most breathtaking views. Oh, and did I say , you’ll visit places that inspired both Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to write novels which included the detective characters Sherlock Holmes and Poirot. This land is truly breath-taking and diverse with legends and myths a plenty, all to be experienced in a memorable day.
