Learn about the man made tragedy that led to a whole village community vanishing into the sea, witness first hand how we try to defend our coastline from rising sea levels and winter storms, prepare to be saddened by the WWII disaster that took place on Slapton Sands. As an option, the tour concludes with a short ferry ride from Dartmouth Castle to the quayside letting you experience this beautiful estuary from sea level, this tour really does tick all the boxes.
